I've listened to the song but doesn't feel anything special towards it. As for the talk section, I think the content refers to a particular point in the manga i.e. Vol 34's page 180 but I don't see any page 180 for that volume. Thus, I have no idea whether that is referring to the manga or the anime's DVD after all.
