Matsuyama-san was born in 1960 at Tokyo and also works as an actor besides being a seiyuu. Some of his anime works include Eyeshield 21, Kyou kara Maou, Kochikame, SAMURAI DEEPER KYO, HUNTERxHUNTER, Mushishi and PEACEMAKER. As for his movie and drama projects, Matsuyama-san can be seen in projects like KILLERS [CANDY], Talking Pet, Keruberosu Jigoku no Banken, Abunai Deka, Aibo, Hana no Ran, Juon, Kamen Rider Cougar and Tokugawa Yoshinobu. According to the profile on Yahoo Japan, Matsuyama-san's height and weight are 173cm and 65kg respectively and his blood type is B. It is also said that he is good at volleyball.
