Mekke! is now selling the Tenipuri original drawing first published in the 32th issue of Shuukan Shounen Jump in 2006 which features Echizen Ryoma in the "Muga no Kyouchi" mode. This item is also from the range in Jump Festa 2007.

Tenipuri Handphone Strap with Fortune-telling can

Mekke! has a new item in the Tenipuri product range where a handphone strap with a fortune-telling can is now available via its website. There are five versions of lots to be drawn featuring famous lines of characters i.e. "Kanpeki Paapeki" - Kikumaru Eiji (Very Lucky), "Yuudan Sezu ni Ikou" - Tezuka Kunimitsu (Moderately Lucky), "Mada Mada Dane" - Echizen Ryoma (Slightly Lucky), "God Damn!" - Kawamura Takashi (Lucky) and "Ground Hyakushuu!" - Tezuka Kunimitsu (Very Unlucky). Tenipuri Bookmarks on Mekke!

Mekke! has a new Tenipuri item for sale now. This is actually not considered new in the sense that it comes from the Jump Festa 2005 range but still a new addition because it has never been sold via this channel. The 6 bookmarks come at the price of 600 yen per set and features the following characters: Echizen, Tezuka, Ooishi, Fuji, Kikumaru, Inui, Kawamura, Momoshiro, Kaidou, Atobe, Oshitari, Mukahi, Shishido, Akutagawa, Kabaji, Ootori and Sakaki. From the description, it seems that there will be famous lines from some of the characters written on the reverse of the bookmark e.g. Tezuka's "Yuudan Sezu ni Ikou". As for the dimensions, it will be 120mm by 35mm. Frankly speaking, I'm quite tempted to get this because the Tezuka, Fuji and Hyotei patterns look so appealing. However, even if I buy this set of bookmarks, I don't think I will bear to use them so it will most likely be kept for viewing pleasure.

Tenipuri Original Drawing on Mekke

News about a new Tenipuri-merchandise on Mekke! An original drawing of Tenipuri characters which was first published in Vol 32 of the manga will be available for sale in the full-colour digital format and it will be framed before sent to the buyer. The characters appearing in this drawing include Echizen, Tezuka, Fuji, Inui, Atobe, Oshitari and Kirihara. As this is a limited item from the 2006 Jump Festa, orders have to be received first before the item is sent in two or three months' time. The period of sale for this item is from 1pm 4 April to 7 May only so this would be the only time when you can place the order. By the way, Konomi-sensei will also sign on it. For your information, the price of this item is 29,000 yen with another charge of 210 yen for the wrapping so as to prevent damage to this fragile item.

I would have considered buying this if not for three main concerns. First of all, the high price tag which translates to more than SGD 400. Secondly, there's no Sanada Genichirou to ogle at and lastly, I don't have a place to hang this up in my room.

Tenipuri drawstring bag and poker card from Mekke!

New merchandise updates from Mekke! again! First of all, it's the Tenipuri drawstring bags sold in a set of 2. The bigger version is yellow in colour as shown in the picture and the smaller version is white. The images on both items are different as the bigger one has the bucchous of the various schools and the top 3 players in Seigaku i.e. Tezuka, Fuji and the lead character Echizen Ryoma. Funny thing is, do you notice that the centre of the picture shows Tezuka instead of Echizen? ^__^ The bucchous featured here include Atobe Keigo, Yukimura Seiichi, Tachibana Kippei and Shiraishi Kuranosuke. Well, I'm not complaining about Tezuka being the centre of attention though. As for the smaller version, it shows the match lineup in the National Arc. By the way, this item is one of the official goods sold during Jump Fest 2006 and the whole set is selling for 1000 yen.

Next is the Tenipuri poker cards set which is selling for 1200 yen. Like the item above, this is also one of the official goods from Jump Fest 2006. According to the description, the 54 cards feature different characters so there should not be a situation of the more popular guys having multiple cards. Besides, the characters featured include both Seigaku and the rival schools thus it should be easy to find your favourite characters within this set unless that guy happens to be in the highly neglected or never-got-to-play-a-single-match categories.

Besides the above-mentioned items, there are some official merchandise sold in conjunction with the launch of the OVA DVDs but as these items are produced by Showa Note, I have no idea where to get them online so I will feature those goods at a later date.

Updates on Mekke! Tenipuri Goods (10 Mar 06)

In conjunction with the launch of the real-life movie in summer 06, the following items' stocks available via Mekke! will be replenished accordingly:

In addition, the Seigaku and Hyotei jerseys which were re-released earlier this year had already been snapped up. Note that the new versions does not come with the option of selecting your favourite character's name to be sewn onto the jersey.
