Romaji lyrics of Zou-san no Scanty by Tezuka Kunimitsu & Sanada Genichirou + Review

At the beginning of the song, you will hear this Indian-style intro which may mislead you into thinking that this style is applied with reference to the elephant mentioned in the title. As Tezuka and Sanada starts singing, you will be greeted with a chirpy and fast melody instead. Just like Banana no Namida, this can be considered a love song which talks about the things which couples do during courtship and there's nothing to be embarrassed about.

The third track titled "Tayori ni naru Tezuka" (The dependable Tezuka) shows Sanada expressing his view that Tezuka is the best partner with him when it comes to singing as they have the best chemistry. And Tezuka goes against his usual humble persona by mentioning how much experience he has when it comes to singing. It can be rather funny to hear Tezuka bragging about his "achievements". The duo gives some clues about their final instalment in this series but as news of the final single has not been released, I have no idea what they are getting at. Sanada then ends the talk with his ambition of winning the Record Taisho with Tezuka this year. ^__^

Here it goes...the romaji lyrics of this song:

Romaji lyrics of Banana no Namida by Tezuka Kunimitsu & Sanada Genichirou + Review

This single marks the first of the 3-part instalment in the Tezuka & Sanada grouping. To be frank, it was rather unexpected for them to release a single together but this is a very pleasant surprise for me. I really hope that they can release more CDs together which may materialise if the 3-part series does well in terms of sales.

I'm still puzzled as to why this song is titled "Banana no Namida" when the lyrics seem to be totally unrelated to bananas. Basically, the song is talking about how hard it is for guys to understand why girls are happy one minute and grouchy the next as well as what they should do to pacify them. It's quite a catchy song and a joy to listen to.

The final track of this single is titled "Arigatou, Tezuka". It's just a short track where Sanada starts off with by screaming "Tezuka" a couple of times before getting to the point of thanking the latter for singing with him. Tezuka replies coolly, saying that he's good at such songs. Not much meaning, I would say but it brings a smile to my face when I hear their voices.

So here it goes, the romaji lyrics are as follows:

Title: Banana no Namida
Artiste: Tezuka Kunimitsu (Okiayu Ryoutarou) & Sanada Genichirou (Kusunoki Taiten)

Kuki Kiichi to release 2 singles on 19 November 2008

Kuki Kiichi from Kakinoki will release 2 singles simultaneously on 19 November 2008 and details are as follows:

1) Title undecided
Price: 777 yen
Catalog number: NECM-10115

2) Title undecided
Price: 777 yen
Catalog number: NECM-10116

More details will follow as they become available.

Well, it is bewildering to know that Kuki will have not one, but two singles released on the same day. I would have thought that only people like Atobe get to enjoy this type of preferential treatment. Still, Atobe is a cut above Kuki since he releases an album and single on his birthday (no doubt the album is a re-release). I simply don't understand what sparked the sudden interest and confidence in Kuki's appeal to pull in the sales so it remains to be seen why he was selected to be the first to release 2 titles on the same day.
